Lewis County Farmers Market
Vendor Contract
Lewis County Farmer's Market is registered with the state of Washignton as a non-profit corporation, and as such, does not discriminate against any member because of sex, race or religion.
As a participating member of the Lewis County Farmers Market during the marketing year of 2011, I agree to the following:
A. I will pay dues of $20 per year for each market location I sell at regardless of the number of days selling at the market. In addition to the dues, I will pay a stall fee of $2.00 per day which will be paid at the beginning of the season and a fee of 5% of my gross sales to the market organization each day I sell. The market manager or agent will collect this amount at the end of each market day. I will be responsible to the state of Washginton or any governing agency for any fees, license or inspections required for the sale of my products and for any sales tax collected from my customers. Copies of these licenses will be given to the market manager.
B. I also agree to hold and save "Lewis County Farmers Market", its agents, employees, and fellow market members and officers harmless and not liable due to any personal injury and harm or damage to any market shopper or visitor by reason of my actions, display, or product for sale in my "booth". This does include the sale of any and all produce, edibles, plants, or other organic material by me in pursuant to this agreement.
C. In the spirit of all Farmer's Markets, I will not overload the Market with any one product and will comply with the "2004 Policy". I understand that any decsisions needed as to my operating at the "Market" will be made by the market manager/agent along with the board members in attendance at the time.
D. I will abide by the decisions of the corporation and its agents.
E. I will be faithful in my attendance each week as long as my product is available.
F. I will have at least 25 pounds of weight on each leg of my canopy each time it is used. I understand I will not be allowed to sell if I do have the weights.
I HAVE RECEIVED A COPY OF THIS VENDOR CONTRACT AND "2004 POLICY" AND WILL COMPLY WITH BOTH.
